Ben McEniery maintains a broad commercial law practice that includes intellectual property, IT law, property law and wills and estates matters. He is recommended as a leading Queensland Intellectual Property and Technology barrister by Doyle’s Guide to the Australian Legal Profession.
Before being called to the bar, Ben practised as a solicitor at Clayton Utz and was a lecturer in law at the Queensland University of Technology.
Ben is a graduate of the University of Queensland, holding the degrees of Bachelor of Arts (majoring in computer science) (1999) and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) (2000). He also holds a Master of Laws (2004) and Doctor of Philosophy (2010) from the Queensland University of Technology.
He is a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand Queensland Committee.
Ben was called to the bar in 2011.
